Primary Care Internship OR Board Eligible in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
Must meet all licensing/certification requirements to perform as a primary care provider in accordance with requirements of the basic contract. Be able to obtain privileges with the MTF Credentials Committee.
Have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the U.S. or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The General Medical Officers (General Practitioners) shall be a medical doctor (MD), OR Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and as a minimum possess an accredited internship in a primary care specialty or a transitional/rotational internship and completion of a primary care residency program.
Experience
The physician shall have been continuously employed in the practice of medicine or in training for the two years.
Clinical experience diagnosing and treating primary care conditions and knowledge of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions.
