PAID RELOCATION FOR QUALIFIED FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER

Civilian position for Nurse Practitioner at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, TX. Perform physical evaluations and provide outpatient medical services to active duty military personnel.

Professional Duties: • Perform general physical examinations; record, in proper format, the findings of the examination and other historical medical and social data appropriate to the patient’s condition; • Select the most appropriate diagnosis and treat in cases of uncomplicated common illnesses and injuries; • Recognize more complicated cases, initiate treatment (if appropriate), and refer to a higher level of medical expertise for diagnosis and/or treatment; • Plan and initiate proper treatment with in the Nurse Practitioner’s defined privileges and scope of practice of the facility; • Identify and report situations and individual cases which have public health significance and carry out effective control measures; • Clearly communicate to other health personnel, either orally or in writing, the findings, diagnosis and planned treatment regimen.

Job Experience:
Qualifications/Requirements • Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner educational program. • Current certification as Nurse Practitioner. • Certification in basic life support (BLS).

Civilian position for Physician Assistant at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, TX. Perform physical evaluations and provide outpatient medical services to active duty military personnel.

Job Experience:
1 year experience as a licensed Physician Assistant required. Education / License / Certifications: Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant educational program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) Possess a current certification as Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. (NCCPA). • Have and maintain certification in basic life support (BLS).
